Last weekend in June, SagencyWA had the privilege of presenting a seminar at the Mental Health Practitioner’s Network event hosted by ConnectionsWA, focusing on Pattern Based Behavioural Interventions when working with men.
It was a fantastic opportunity to share knowledge, explore practical strategies, and engage in meaningful conversations with fellow mental health practitioners who are passionate about improving outcomes for the men we support. The discussions throughout the session highlighted the importance of recognising behavioural patterns, understanding the underlying drivers of men’s experiences, and applying evidence-informed interventions that create lasting change.
A heartfelt thank you to Andrea Groom and Jacqui from Margaret River To You for their incredible work in bringing this event together. Your commitment to creating spaces where practitioners can connect, learn, and collaborate is truly appreciated, and it made for an inspiring and engaging day.
Presenting on a topic I care deeply about was both rewarding and energising. One of the greatest highlights was the opportunity to interact with such a dedicated group of professionals, each bringing their own insights, experiences, and perspectives to the conversation. These connections and shared learning experiences strengthen our collective ability to support men experiencing mental health challenges.
Thank you to everyone who attended, contributed to the discussions, and helped make the seminar such a success. I look forward to continuing these conversations and working together to build more effective, compassionate, and pattern-informed approaches to supporting men’s mental health.
